"Life of the Ice River"
A heartfelt dive into the depths of the Patagonia region of Argentina and Chile went into this multi media art piece and film. I give you my reflections on the imprinted experiences through journaled thoughts, texture & paint, and now cinematography.

About the piece
In November of 2024, I spent a life changing 3 weeks in Patagonia. This project is the beginning of a new path I am taking with my art. Taking personal experiences from travel and turning it into unique expressions. While in Patagonia we hosted a group trip, backpacked for 5 days outside of El Chalten, walked amongst rivers and caverns of glaciers, drove across grasslands, and rode horses in the Chilean countryside with Guanaco.
My work now consists of not only woodworking, painting, texture, and epoxy resin to complete the final touch of what I want to communicate... but travel, poetry, and film making. It's a long and patient process. Requiring many layers building up to show a deep thought. What can you come away with when you truly witness something?
